To begin the canvas was painted in a rich brown as this colour reflects the fertile soil of the Eora Nation, the land upon which CBHS is built.
Secondly the design was chosen. The circles represent the eight school houses, where groups of boys meet before they walk and talk on their way to school. Every boy in the primary painted at least 10 dots which became a part of many walking tracks, tracks which lead to and from our school and house groups. The colours chosen are our eight house colours with traditional symbols of meeting places and walking tracks being used. |
