OCHRE- Is used when Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people dance. The way in which the ochre is placed on each persons body tells a particular story.
Ochre is a type of hard clay and is found in many places in Australia, especially W.A and N.T. It comes naturally in many different colours which include red, pink, yellow, white and blue. Blue is rarest and is found in caves along the coast.
